Sikwethi Lisulo (On fb he is the Director and CEO but on e-mail e is the Projects Manager), contacted me on 2 May asking if I could train a workshop for him - Administrative Assistants: Masterclass-2017. This was on the Tuesday just after the long weekend. He said that Carmen Cara was not available and if I could train this workshop.

I was available and decided to train it. The first amber lights flashed on the Wednesday when he had not given permission for the printers to print the material (28 pages of material in lanscape). I put him on speaker phone at the printers so he could give his ok. He agreed to pay me R3 500-00 per day and also my mileage as the workshop was at a hotel in Melkbos.

The training was a challenge. The material was poorly written and had no substance. I had to do research on internet to fill 2 days of training. I have trained this workshop for a few companies before so I knew what to add in.

The delegates received no certificate after the training. They left rather dissappointed with the overall service they received from this company before and after the training. The total invoice to be paid to me came to just over R7 500-00. He paid R3 500-00 on 13 May 2017 but he still owes just over R4 000-00. I have sent him numerous e-mails requesting payment and I have phone his number in vain. He doesnt answer his phone.

When I wrote him on whatsapp asking why payment has not been done in full he wrote back in whatsapp that they were waiting for payment from the clients. I asked him why his company has not paid and he mentioned that they are waiting for the finance department to pay.

I believe this is a one-man company although he says there are 7 people. I have now handed him and his company to my lawyer to deal with him.

Be careful of this company. It seems to be a fly-by-nighter who wants to fill his pockets quickly.

Why does DSTV have continuous customer surveys if they do not LISTEN to their customers - the one's who ay their big salaries? There has been numerous questionnaires and surveys regarding whether people want the programme magazine. Many has opted that they do want the magazine. On 1 Feb I went to DSTV to ask if the magazines were there, which should have been delivered to my address, only to be told that the PO has once again not delivered on time. I went there yesterday and was greeted in an unfriendly manner by a lady with painted on eyebrows who told me that the magazines has been stopped altogether. This is news as I have always been able to get a magazine, which I had to fetch myself for the past year as no one seems to know where my magazine goes to. So tell me please how should my mom, who is 85 and not techno fundi, be able to know what programmes are on where?? She lives in Jhb and had to go to Multichoice month after month to collect her magazine that is supposed to be delivered. It seems Multichoice only listen to themselves, as long as subscribers ay their monthly fees, and do what they want. Never bite the hand that feeds you. The hand might not be there forever.
