I had a Supa Hot geyser installed 10 months ago, 100lt Supa Hot. I picked up a leak on the geyser body and was told to make a claim via a Wats App chat. I had to send pictures of the installation. When I sent the pictures they said that I had a Isolation valve after the Pressure relief valve on the cold water line feeding the geyser. For this reason my claim was voided. The valve was a true bore valve, the inside of the valve was the same diameter as the 3/4" pipe. The valve was installed there to isolate the geyser from the rest of the house water when repairs were going to be carried out on the geyser later on. I Google it and it advice an isolation before the main cold water feed into the geyser, the plumber installed it as per the drawing. The correct Pressure relief valve was used. The geyser is 10 months old and still have 4 years and 2 months left on the warranty. This 3/4" isolation valve with true bore and could not been the reason the geyser failed in 10 months. Would the isolation valve made a difference if the valve was installed before or after the pressure relief valve. Supa Hot is using this to not honor their warranty of 4 years and 2 months remaining. They don't call you back, you just get a call center agent lady that tells you that she is only doing her job to pass the information across. I have been waiting for 2 weeks plus for a Manager to call me. This geyser failed in 10 months. It says alot about the quality of this Supa Hot geyser . I will be taking this complain to IOPSA.
