If there were an option to give a negative rating, I would. This was an extremely disappointing experience, full of empty promises, false pretences, and absolutely no results. There is a complete lack of professionalism and respect for people. After receiving payment, he disappeared, stopped answering calls, and was dishonest about his company’s address. He does not operate from that location, it appears to be outdated with only an old poster still on the windows. He insists on meeting at a restaurant instead of a legitimate place of business, which raises serious concerns. I would strongly caution anyone against dealing with him.
I am writing regarding two significant issues that have arisen with my contracts and billing, which have caused me considerable frustration! Firstly, in January 2022, I purchased a Samsung phone on contract from Vodacom, but upon receipt, I found that I didn't like some of its features. In accordance with the terms outlined in the agreement, I returned the device within the specified 7-day period. As far as I knew, everything was well because I even took out another contract with Vodacom (Huawei phone) and then after the fiber contract. Shockingly, in June 2023, there was an outstanding cancellation fee on my credit report, accruing interest over time. Despite my numerous attempts to address this matter with Vodacom's customer service team, the issue remains unresolved. My issue is if the amount was outstanding since Jan 2022, why did Vodacom continue to approve my other contract requests? Secondly, in January 2024, after the completion of the 24-month contract term with my Huawei phone, I requested the cancellation of the contract. Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that the cancellation was never activated on Vodacom's side. As a result, I have been erroneously charged for the service every month since my initial request to cancel in January 2024. I find it unacceptable that despite returning the Samsung phone and SIM card within the specified timeframe, I am still being charged for the SIM card. Furthermore, the failure to process the cancellation of the Huawei phone contract is unacceptable. The lack of communication and resolution from Vodacom regarding these matters is deeply concerning. Despite numerous assurances that the issues would be investigated and resolved, I have yet to receive a satisfactory response. Additionally, I am disappointed by the inefficiency of Vodacom's call center representatives, who have repeatedly transferred me without providing any answers. I am urgently requesting that Vodacom conducts a thorough investigation into these issues and provides a prompt resolution. This includes reversing any erroneous charges and ensuring that my credit report accurately reflects the status of my accounts.
