Bought a secondhand Fortuner from them. Great service from Shaun. They put it through roadworthy and repaired all the faults, even delivered it 60Kms away. Going beyond the voetstoots story we normally get from 2nd hand car dealers
In February this year, I saw a vehicle on lisabank website that I was interested in buying. I phoned one of the sales agents ( Kea)and put in an application to finance it. A few days later, I got a call advising me that I need to deposit a refundable deposit of R500 so that they can move the vehicle from a branch in Randburg to Wynberg. I offered to go view the car in Randburg but I was told its not company policy so I ended up paying the deposit. The email clearly stated that the deposit will be refundable if the deal did not go through. Later on I was informed that the finance didnot go through. Since then up to now, I have been battling to get my refund, as small as it is, I think its unfair business practice to withhold it, considering that the car was not even moved from Randburg and I never viewed it. Firstly I was told the manager/salesman who was helping me(Martin) has left, not sure why that should affect me as the deposit was done to company account not his personal acc. I was then introduced to Justin, who assured me that he will address it, up to now, 4 months later, I still havent been refunded. No reply to emails or phone calls. This is bad service and everyone considering paying a deposit to them to secure a vehicle or something must think twice

These guys repair hydraulic cylinders. On the 9th of March 2016, I took my cylinder to be repaired.

I was quoted R10 000, 2 days later after stripping the cylinder, I was told the barrel is damaged so the quote increased to R14000

I obliged and paid the amount on the 12th of March 2016. The worst was yet to come. The job was supposed to take 3 days but 3 days later, 3 months later, the cylinder was still not yet done. Finally on the 3rd of Sept, I was told its ready, went to collect it, fitted it on, the cylinder was not repaired, still leaking.

They collected it again, up to this day, almost a year later, I still do not have my cylinder after paying R14000.

Even returning it unrepaired, they cant do any more as it has been stripped to fix other cylinders. Everyday I am given a different story and a new promise to come collect it tomorrow, up to this day

Last year, they were trading as Liniton Hydraulics but had to abandon that name and change to EC hydraulics

I renewed my contract in 2010 and part of the package that I took included data back up services. This meant that Vodacom is continuously backing up my contacts and the fee for this is R10 per month.
This has been going off my account for the past 5 years. A few months back my cellphone got stolen, I then contacted customer care to see if they can load my contacts on the new phone that I had purchased. The consultant told me Vodacom does not do that, they do not have such a backup service. I called again the following day and after checking the deductions that have been going off my bill, the consultant said he has escalated my query to Back up services, they will be able to assist me. I waited a few days and called again.
I was then told my query has been logged on with VAS, that was the end of it. Its 4 months now
I have been sending emails and just being given reference numbers. One of them is this one 00JR-RS88 Strangely they are still continuing to deduct the R10 off my bill. This is bad service and someone should at least take responsibility and sort it out. Thanks to skydrive, I managed to recover my contacts for free!
