I took my phone to a shop called Tech 2050 based in Picbel Package Mall in Cape Town CBD for a battery replacement. Battery was replaced and i paid R900. I was told no to remove the elastic bands that where holding the phone together i must remove them after an hoir when the glue is dry. I got home switched om the phone only to discover my screen has 2 black ink marks that were noy there when i gave them my phone. Both my front and back cameras were not working. I went back Wednesday monring and told them of the 2 issues i saw i need them to fix them. The guys started to argue and requested me to leave the phone they will check it out. I came back to collect the phone and they told me the was a shot og the board and for the to fix the cameras i musg pay R1200 that is when i lost my cool. The shot was created by their technician who therefore they were supposed to fix at no cost. They told me now they can cover half of the bill therefore i must pay the R600 and told them no ways. You damaged my phone and now you wany me yo pay then the 2 guys started to become rude and we almost exchange blows luckly for them the mall security guards came quick andni explained the story to them. This is a very bad cellphone repair shop with no respect to customers and very rude so called technicians. They were so irrate when they heard that i am a technician will electronics, electrical engineering and IT qualifications and what they were telking me were lies. Will never ever go to that shop again and i advise people not to take cellphone for repairs into that shop
