I recently bought a used vehicle from First Car and had a very pleasant experience from the first day when I went to view and test drive the vehicle. Greg gave me great assistance and kept me informed throughout the entire process.<br> After picking up the vehicle I discovered that I could not charge my cellphone in the car and that I did not know how to connect my phone and ipod to the radio. Greg came out to my work office and replaced the fuse which had been blown. He also bought a replacement audio manual (as it was missing) and assisted me to connect to my devices.<br> Overall the service I received from First Cars was outstanding!
I applied for an Access Bond Facility in January 2015. I completed all relevant documentation and was informed that the Access Bond would be active in 5 days. After 5 days I started transferring funds into my account however when I tried to access the funds at a later stage I could not access them. I called to find out what the issue was and was told that a balance limit adjustment had to be done which would take 2 days and that an sms would be sent however this never happened. I spoke to several incompetent consultants over a 3 week period while continuing to transfer funds into the account. Eventually I was assisted by a team leader who resolved the query but now I cannot access my extra funds at all. I was told that after the limit readjustment I now don't have any funds available!!! No one explained this to me and I was told I need to apply for a loan re-advancement as if I'm applying for a loan which requires FICA! For my own funds because according to Clifford the team leader Shaheen made a mistake from the beginning. I cannot understand why Std Banks incompetence has now become my problem. I took my private cheque account to Investec in 2014 for this reason!!!! ref 700377929
