Avoid Getsmarter/UCT alliance online studies.
Pathetic service. They do not issue certification for course completion. The online portal where you can apparently only view your certificate does not work. And when one asks for an order form to order a hardcopy,their response is zero. Do not make use of this insituition.

Refusing to give statements
Refusing to help when requesting an statement on my loan. I can not download from the app as I not have an account with ABSA, speaking to agents is a not helpful as they refuse to help and keeps telling to use the app. They are quick to debit your account, but when asking for a simple document it is impossible to get it from ABSA

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service and Unjust Credit Bureau Listings
I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from ABSA Bank. Despite numerous attempts to get in touch with their customer service team, I have received no response. This lack of communication is not only frustrating but also unacceptable for a bank of their size and reputation. To make matters worse, ABSA has unjustly listed me on credit bureaus for non-payment, even though I have a set debit order that goes off every month without fail. This is not only damaging to my credit score but also a clear indication of their incompetence and lack of proper record-keeping. I expected much better from ABSA and am thoroughly dissatisfied with how they have handled my account. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this bank, as their customer service is severely lacking and their handling of financial matters is questionable at best.
