I have been overcharged for electricity in the sum of roughly R8,000.00. I called City of Cape Town and after holding, eventually got through and spoke to a consultant. After answering a million questions and explaining what the problem was, I was cut off. I phoned again and a different consultant answered, so I had to repeat the process - answer all the questions and explain the whole story again. Guess what? That's right, I was cut off. I am changing to prepaid forthwith before I lose the will to live.
I called Mi-Way Insurance to make changes to my existing policy. I was assisted by Khanyisile Sanqela, who was wonderfully efficient, helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thanks Khanyisile! It is so refreshing to receive outstanding service like this these days.
What a pleasure it has been dealing with the STBB (Better Bond) personnel. I recently app**** for a mortgage loan and Delia Etsebeth couldn't have been more helpful and professional. I had a really frustrating time trying to get everything I needed to be able to apply for the bond (due to the unbelievable incompetence of everyone I dealt with at both Discovery Life and Old Mutual), but Delia went out of her way to assist me and provide me with regular updates and advice. She was just a phone call away (no waiting on the line for ages just to be 'transferred to the correct department' ... and then cut off), and always responded to my emails promptly. I was successful in my application for a home loan and am very grateful for their help! So refreshing to encounter service like this in today's world. Thank you Better Bond!
