I'm very disappointed with the service I've been recieving from this bank. They referred my account to the GL attorneys even after I've tried to make an arrangement with them, now that I've made an arrangement with the attorney's to pay R1790 African bank is still trying to attempt to debit me on top of that! I don't know how many times I've called them to fix this matter, they always claim to have resolved it then comes month end they debit, why did they refer my account to the attorneys but still debit on my account? And every time they attempt to debit my bank account doesn't have enough money then it bounces then I'm getting charged by my bank for that. Please resolve this matter immediately and stop taking money from my account and I want to be refunded all the money that my bank charges me every time you attempt to debit. Don't call me just stop making the debit, it's not my fault that there's a communication barrier between you and your attorneys!
I am so disappointed at African bank. I took a loan with then there was a month where I was starting to have financial problems, I then contacted them to make an arrangement of for R900 instead of the 1333 that I was paying just for that month. Come month end they debited me twice first for the normal installment then for the arranged amount. I then reversed the R900. During the month I started getting massages that my next payment was going to be two thousands and something rand that's is when I just changed my account cause it was clear to me that they are not an understanding bank and I was already financial depressed. I skipped a couple of payments until they sent a Feild agent to come to my workplace, he asked me how much will I afford to pay I told him that I won't be able to pay anything since I'll be going for maternity leave for the next six months I asked if he can put my account on hold for 6 months. He told that it is impossible for him to do that because if I don't pay anything my account will have more and more arrears, and said that I must atleast pay R200 for 6 months and then after I can make a payment arrangement. Now the 3 hundred has been debited from my account my arrears Keep going up and I received a call from an agent and I explained to her what happened in regards to the arrangement, she told my that the Feild agent misinformed me and that I'm going to be charged arrears for the next six months regardless of the 2 hundreds that I'll be paying for the next six months. What must I do know because I acknowledge my debt and I won't have money for the next six months of maternity leave? By the time I go back to work how much will my arrears be? Do you know how depressing this is to someone who is already drowning in debts?.
They don't even deserve this one star they deserve a Zero! I've never experienced this horrible service even at a public institution! They made me wait 5 straight hours only to be told that my medical aid doesn't cover the sonar ( which I did call and they confirmed that yes it does cover)! They lack professionalism and the place stinks. Don't even think about going there! You'll regret it.
Homechoice are nothing but a bunch of ****mers! I'm extremely disappointed with their service. I called them to ask for my account to be cancelled as I could no longer afford it, I was then required to make a settlement of R1227 for my account to be cancelled. I proceeded and went to ShopRite to pay the R1227 (which I even have receipts for) I was then relieved that I no longer owe them as I've cancelled and settled the account. A month later got a call from one of their sales agents telling me that my account is active, I'm a good payer so their offering me a special. I was very to hear so I immediately called their customer service line where I was told that the account is not cancelled because I still have an outstanding balance of R137 that still needs to be settled? They that they received R1119 instead of R1227!!! AND JUST HUNG UP ON ME!! I'm extremely disappointed with this company and will NEVER EVER! BUY FROM THEM! HOMECHOICE PLEASE DO RIGHT BY ME.
