1 star is actually ALOT considering the extremely terrible service here. Even public institutions are far better than the than this. I've been waiting for more than 4 hours now and the people who work here don't care. 4 patients have already asked for their money back since they paid on cash but as for card payments, we're unapologetically told that our no money will be returned in 4 to 5 days. No remorse or communication atleast. The stay members all have bad attitudes except for the lady taking BP at the back, she's the only one who bothered to acknowledge the irate patients and informed the "manager" (Monica) at reception to stop taking patients as it's already full, she is came to check for herself and ignored everyone who tried to speak to her. R700 is a lot of money for such service. This is definitely my first and last time coming here. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

They don't even deserve this one star they deserve a Zero! I've never experienced this horrible service even at a public institution! They made me wait 5 straight hours only to be told that my medical aid doesn't cover the sonar ( which I did call and they confirmed that yes it does cover)! They lack professionalism and the place stinks. Don't even think about going there! You'll regret it.

The treatment we received at Lister Building leaves less to be desired. I and my family have been their patients for more than ten years, including close relatives. I sat on those cold chairs for about three hours. My kid started being restless asking for food. I could not move because there were individuals who were made to skip the queue. One child threw up while in the queue and we wanted to assist by cleaning. To our surprise, one of the cleaners said it was the responsibility of the mother to clean. That did not sit well with us as well. Shd came later and cleaned. Three ladies requested for a manager on duty but struggled to get his/contacted. Some rude tall lady, with less empathy came. We then aired our frustrations. Another staff member said whoever wanted a refund should come and stop making noise. I decided to stay for an hour and Idecided to rush myself to Life Brenthurst Clinic. I tried to explain to those staff members that my situation needed emergence attention not to be treated as they imp****. They ignored me just like the rest who aired their frustrations. They also us what did we expect where was only one doctor on (Dr Nyathi). They said they the other was busy undressing and/or undressing another patient. I was surprised because it took almost 3hours to so. Why didn't Dr Maphisa and Partners send another doctor to feel the gap. Especially when they told they were busy with circumstion as well. Any, I decided to sit back on my chair. When I realised I was shivering and sweating at the same time and my whole body was sore with splitting headaches. I then rushed to Brenthurst- Emergency where I was admitted and treared on the spot. I was then admitted.getting. Before I talked with a reception who gave attitude and asked for my refund. She said she has done since I was not treated there. My daughter is a witness. Just close that practice because you are also exploiting Dr Nyathi there. I thank God that I'm alive!

Good day I would lie to lay a formal complaint against DR Maphisa and partners, practice number: 1556347 (GP) and practice number: 0883573 (Dentist). Consultation date: 07/09/2024 I arrived at 8:15 am with my 2 children to see the doctor, my 1-year-old toddler was congested, and she had a cough. I signed in at reception and he directed us to the nurse’s station for weight checking, when you got there, there was no one there, we waited about 30 min. I decided to leave the station to join the queue to see the GP. After waiting in the queue for an hour the GP turned us back to the nurse’s station. We went there and came back. At this point I was very upset and tried to voice this to the doctor. He said he does not like my attitude, and he will not assist, I should wait for another doctor. At this point my daughter is cranky and wants to nap. We have now been at the facility for close to 3 hours. We finally saw a GP, to my surprise a very nice lady, who was of great assistance. When I thought the wait for over, we had to wait again at the pharmacy as there was no one so assist. I had to go to reception to call someone to assist. When we left the rooms, it was 11:31am. Consultation date: 08/06/2024 We came back to the same practice with my 14-year-old son for circumcision. We decided to go to the dentist since the wait was long. We waited 45 min to be signed at reception. The lady there claimed that they do not confirmed benefits with the medical aid on Saturday, but they will see us since we already have a file. I told them that Primecure is open, and I need a fluoride to be done which requires auth. She refused and I I dialled the Primecure line and put the phone on speaker. She ushered me to another side to wait to see the dentist. 10 min later she called me and said her superior wants to speak to me. They called me into an office and basically attacked me. Made accusations that I swore at the doctor and the receptionist. I told them I was voicing my dissatisfaction with the appalling service they are giving. To avoid an argument, I asked them if they are going to assist or not and walked out the room. I have been using this service provider for years and this is the first time I have received such appalling service and being turned away with a sick toddler by a GP is beyond appalling. Yesterday was not even that busy but the wait time was ridiculous, when I try to raise my concerns, I am being turned away and told that I have a bad attitude. The GP and dentist are not a free service, yet they treat their patience with such disrespect.

Save your money and not visit Lister clinic, the waiting time is just as a public clinic, & some Dr's are not even professional, this private clinic is useless, save your time & energy, you will definitely regret going there.
