I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a recent purchase from the store that has caused considerable distress and potential health risks to my pregnant fiancé. On 12/07/2024, My Fiancé purchased Premade Cheesecake from Super Spar Retail Crossing, Cnr Hendrik Potgieter & Diederichs Street, Strubensvalley, Strubensvalley. Upon consuming the product, my fiancé discovered that it was not only expired but also contained visible mold. This incident has been extremely distressing, especially considering her current state of pregnancy, where health and nutrition are of utmost importance. To add to our distress, when she brought this issue to the attention of your store supervisor, Samantha, she was met with a lack of sympathy and concern. Although the supervisor did offer a refund, we are not concerned with the amount of the product. Rather, our primary concern is the health and well-being of my fiancée and our unborn child. The supervisor did not offer any additional assistance or propose any action to address the potential health risks. The combination of purchasing expired, moldy food and receiving such poor treatment from your staff is deeply troubling. We have always trusted your store for quality products and reliable service, but this incident has significantly undermined that trust.
