an unresolved issue with an order I placed through the Mr D app. I initially placed an order which I later cancelled due to the extended delivery time. The payment for this order was made using a WI voucher valued at R250, along with a card payment of R5. While the R5 card payment was refunded, the voucher amount has not been returned. On my first call, I was advised to contact Capitec, as I was told they had processed the reversal. After conducting their investigation, Capitec confirmed that Mr D is still in possession of the voucher and that no refund was processed on their side. I then contacted Mr D again and was informed that the voucher had been voided and could be reused. However, when I attempted to use the voucher, the application indicated that it was invalid. I followed multiple troubleshooting steps provided by different agents, all of which were unsuccessful. Despite this, I was once again directed back to Capitec, with Mr D stating they are unable to assist further. This ongoing back-and-forth has been both frustrating and time-consuming. To make matters worse, during my most recent interaction, an agent imp**** that I was blocking other customers from receiving assistance, which I found highly unprofessional and dismissive of my concern. I request that this matter be urgently investigated and resolved. Specifically, I expect the R250 voucher to be reinstated or refunded without further delay, and for appropriate attention to be given to the handling of my case.
I accidentally purchased a monthly product worth R3960.00 from my shopping cart on the 5th of July. I requested a refund online and blocked my card by the agent's instructions. He let me know that it would take 3 to 14 days for me to receive the refund. Whenever I called to check on the refund status, I was always informed that it was still in the refund queue. The 14 days have elapsed, and my refund claims are still in the queue and haven't been worked on. My case has been escalated, which means I will have to wait another couple of days for feedback after 14 days without a refund. I have been forced to purchase individual trips from Park Station to Pretoria, which is causing me financial problems.
