I bought a new motorbike from wrench ******s. Despite the few negative comments on this site i gave it a try. I just came in to enquire and was helped by Freddy. 30 minutes later the purchase was done. Upon fetching the bike after the on road service, I met the owner Grant who shared many tips and tricks regarding this bike. I bought cars in past from dealerships where you deal with slimy pushy sales actors who do their best to get every cent out of your wallet to meet their sales target. My experience with wrench ******s was the opposite, great professional service.
On January 11 I wrote a review with the title "very bad business ethics" I got a standard reply to log the issue on"www.webuycars.co.za/customer-care" and so I did. On their website they mention "The Customer Care Department will investigate the complaint and respond within three (3) business days". I have had no respond at all. I am sure this complaint will follow with their standard reply and ask me to file a complaint with customer care AGAIN. This company is just a big joke where the customer is their very last priority.
I was selling a 2021 Renault Kwid that I bought on auction. It had a minor frontal collision and no air bag was deployed. The car has 13.000 km on the clock. I fixed it and put it on sale for R 135.000. The car is complete with spare key service history and technical Dekra report. I decided to try We buy cars. Without having a look at the car they told me the car could be worth R 135.000 based on the details I gave them. They came, drove the car and did an inspection. Because I did own the car shorter than 6 months they wanted to know which auction I bought it from and for how much. I provided them with the invoice and proof of settlement. I had nothing to hide and was transparent in every way. After a few days they came with an offer of R 115.000 which I accepted. They came to pick up the car and make payment. Papers were signed and when it came to payment there was a blockage from their side. The consultant went back to his office to find out what is going on. He called me an hour later to inform me that because this car was in an accident they could only offer me R 55.000. The initial offer of R 115.000 was based on all the the information I gave them including the involvement in an accident. Lucky I am not desperate for money and I rejected their offer. If this is their business ethics and **** people I can only advise anyone to stay far away from this company.
