We've had 3 power Outages yesterday the last communication recieved stated as follows "11kV loss of power at Shannon A. The SA 2 feeder has tripped. Areas affected Bergman Square, Khayelitsha, Shannon and part of Grassland. Estimated restoration time 2 hours." And that was at 18:20 mind you the other areas they mentioned have power while I our area was in the dark. I reported this issue to Centlec Customer Care via WhatsApp and they stated they are the ones who switched it off then after sent me the same message of 11kV loss this time without a reference and a notice to prepare us for this issue since they did communicate with the 1st power outage. This has been a continuous issue in our area and this is a new development but still the electrical issue is just frustrating.
2months back i had canceled my policy with this insurance since then their VAP department hasn't stopped debiting the monthly premium we had agreed on before contract termination. Tried calling them several times but they keep directing me to other departments still with no one being able to resolve my situation.
