I logged a complaint about my meter box because the keypad was no longer working, preventing me from loading electricity. As a result,we had to sleep in the dark last night. Today, when they called,they simply told me that the electricians were at my gate- without ever informing me beforehand what time to expect them as its during the day,I'm at work. Fortunately,I work close to home,so I asked my boss to let me attend to the issue. I rushed home, driving like crazy to ensure I arrived on time, only to find that the electricians were nowhere to be seen. To make matters worse,no one was answering my calls. I had no choice but to return to work, deeply disappointed and without any assistance. O am beyond hurt and frustrated, especially since I have an infant who needs warm milk. Their service is terrible, showing no care or consideration for people's needs

Every day when there is a thunderstorm as Botshabelo residents we must face power outage that will take hours to be fixed and so annoying hle can't they do something to fix that?

We've had 3 power Outages yesterday the last communication recieved stated as follows "11kV loss of power at Shannon A. The SA 2 feeder has tripped. Areas affected Bergman Square, Khayelitsha, Shannon and part of Grassland. Estimated restoration time 2 hours." And that was at 18:20 mind you the other areas they mentioned have power while I our area was in the dark. I reported this issue to Centlec Customer Care via WhatsApp and they stated they are the ones who switched it off then after sent me the same message of 11kV loss this time without a reference and a notice to prepare us for this issue since they did communicate with the 1st power outage. This has been a continuous issue in our area and this is a new development but still the electrical issue is just frustrating.

They have cut power since from 09:00 in the morning until now we still don't have electricity, I've tried contacting centlec several times and they don't give an accurate answer. They say they are busy trying to fix the problem and again they don't know the nature of the problem could you please assist on this matter because centlec consultants are lying to the community of botshabelo

I arrived home (Botshabelo Section C1) yesterday around 18h30 and I found the town with no electricity and when I hear it has been off the whole of the afternoon yesterday till now electricity is still off in the area and nearby places

They have done it again when I thought the worst is over. This company doesn't even deserve a single star I mean what does pre-paid electricity mean when Centlec decides to switch off electricity for paying residents without a valid reason. Since from late last night we don't have electricity here in Botshabelo Section U,S,R and V the children had to wash with cold water in this freezing conditions and they had to go to school without eating breakfast...just to mention few, they still fix the problem since last night and yet they don't say when will the electricity be back. Please help We've been calling but we don't get help, I speak on behalf of the residents of U,S,V and R Sections in Botshabelo Free State.
