They will **** you off your deposit
I stayed in one of the properties that they manage in Ormonde View Estates from October 2024 and my lease ended on the 30th of September 2025. On the 16th of September I received an email from my agent telling to sign the new lease and send it back to her. The following was entailed in the new lease 1. Rental increase of R408, Monthly Admin fee R150, lease preparation fee of R1150 and deposit top-up of R408. So I told her that I don’t have that kind of money and I’ve never even heard of such things like deposit top-up. We had heated arguments and I decided to let her know that I’d rather moved out. Besides, section 14 of the consumer protection act states that the agent has to remind the tenant that the lease is ending atleast 40 to 80 days before the lease ends however she chose to wait for 14 days until the lease expires to remind me, and when I asked her why she had to wait this long she said it’s not her job to remind me that my lease is ending. She then threatened that I am going to forfeit my deposit, but how will I forfeit my deposit if my lease ended? I did not terminate any contract, our contract expired. I want my deposit back, This Naomi Daniels lady is trying to rip me off my hard earned money. We even did the exit inspection and everything was great even the place was clean so she mustn’t try with her tactics again because I’ve already seen that she’s after my money.

Bad service
This company is a ****. They falsely advertised an apartment at Ormonde View Estates. On the adverti*****t it was said the lease will be 12 months, the rent R7000 and that the place will be available on the 6th of September. After I paid for everything ( the deposit and rent), they are now telling me that the landlord wants to change the lease to 6 months and increase the rent 500, the landlord still has his things in the apartment I don’t even think that he’s ready to move out. I told the agent that I’m pulling out since the landlord is unreliable and going back on his word. The agent promised that I will get my money back but it’s the 25th and they still haven’t repaid me. When I call, they are no longer taking my calls and I need my money back so that I can secure another place. They wasted enough of my time, I want my money back please!!!
