Icebolethu Portshepstone branch two receptionist and the manager lady whom the staff call "mphathi" gave us very bad service on the 12 of December 2025 around 12h30. They were very rude and of no help when we were requesting them to help us charge our flat cellphone so as to access the banking app and make payment. We ended up getting hep from one customer who saw this happen infront of her, and gave us her charger and power bank, thanks to her(Miss Nzama). They said charging our phone will damage their charger, in a very arrogant and disrespectful manner. I was very much disappointed in their service and believe that they need to learn good customer service, good manners and ubuntu to be of good service to people. I cannot recommend anyone to Icebolethu funerals Portshepstone. Bad service ever during difficult trying times.
I paid for my tracking device 3 years in advance when I purchased the vehicle in 2022 but I keep getting emails that I am owing and my account has been handed over for collections. This happened last year whereby I had no tracker as my account was suspended for about 9 months until March this year when it was sorted after a long struggle. In July this year same scenario, I’m getting emails that I’m owing again. I’ve sent emails and made phone calls but no help. Now I’m getting communication from attorneys and this thing is going to negatively affect my credit record for absolutely no reason.
I had an accident whereby someone didn't stop on a stop sign and bumped my car on the 12 of April 2024. I made a claim to Dialdirect for my car to be repaired which was done successfully and I had to pay the excess amount when collecting my car from repair center early in May. I have been making calls to Dialdirect business insurance every other month to check the progress of recovering my excess since end of May until yesterday 25 September 2024. May till August I was getting one and the same response that they are waiting for invoice from the repair center until I went to the repair center myself and ask them why are they not sending my insurance the invoice, to my surprise the repair center sent the invoice in May. Cut the long story short, the last call I made yesterday I was told that I will have to claim my excess through small claims court because they can not recover my excess due to the fact that the cost of repairing the other party's car was high because his car is more expensive than mine, there is a 80 - 20 rule for insurance companies hence they cannot recover my excess......yada-yada, they will forward me an email before end of business with step by step processes to claim through small claims court of which I never received and they are also not sure if the small claims court thing will be successful or not. I'm very much angry with Dialdirect more especially because the accident was never my fault but now I'm going around like headless chicken with nothing positive towards recovering my excess. I've lost my money while I was not at fault. I've canceled my insurance with Dialdirect now due to their very bad service. 👎🗑 🚮
