This place is exceptional upon entrance. Friendly, helpful staff. The one particular person that stands out is Solomon. He is such a gem. There are teething issues at this establishment, such as: it takes over an hour for the generator to kick in after the power is cut. Once the generator is up and running, there is no water as the generator cannot handle the load. Management makes promises and does not stick to them. My husband and I arrived on Thursday and were ordered around to pose for videos and pictures for marketing reasons (which we have since refused to allow the lodge to use) Up until this morning, the only annoying part was the power, we went to buy candles to have some sort of light in the darkness as candles are not provided. Once we returned to the lodge, an aggressive driver arrived and looked very angry with a quartz bottle in his hand. He is the owner. He swore my husband and I, threatened us as well as intimidate us after getting at least 4 labour workers to enter the room we were in. This is so unacceptable. Up until today, I felt safe in that environment. I know there are 100 people at least that only have nice things to say, I am unfortunately not one of those people. This establishment is not ready for the festive season which I am almost certain will be disappointing to guests that don't take their own gas stoves to make coffee and extra water to wash.
