Paid R4850 to EasyDNA – No Service Delivered, No Refund Offered
I paid R4850 to EasyDNA in 2024 for DNA testing of my three dogs. Despite submitting samples (Izzy, Peggy, and Purple) based on updated return instructions sent by them, they are now refusing to honour the service — claiming a “3-month expiry” hidden in their fine print. At no point during purchase or follow-up was this expiry period clearly communicated. When I raised this under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act — which requires clear and fair disclosure of conditions — they shut the case down and told me the samples would be destroyed. This is completely unacceptable. Avoid this company.
