CPUT Wellington charge almost R30k to potential student for studying at another insitution after she notify them via email that she is cancelling their acceotance offer
CPUT Wellington create an account and charge almost R30k for registration after we send them an email on 5 Feb 2024 stating my daughter is cancelling their acceptance letter as she is going to study at another institution. She never set foot at their campus nor did she use any of their services or learning materials. The department that received the cancellation email never informed us that theur is a form that we need to complete or the process to submit the cancellation electronicly. We haven't heard from them in almost 2 years but now received a notice from their Debt Collectors for the outstanding amount. This is a total disgrace to humankind. Is this how CPUT enrich themselves from the poor and an unemployed, fulltime student for studying at another institution of her choice?

Sanlam extremely bad service due to poor management systems
Two Pot claim submitted on 16 Sep 2024. Received correspondence from Sanlam that I will receive payout between 5 to 10 working days, latest 4 Oct 2024. Phoned in on 4 Oct as payout was not done. The confirmed that they received all my documents and all is in order. They marked my request as critical to speed up the payout as its overdue. I phoned in today 14 Oct again just to be told again that all my docs are in order and they dont know how my request slipped as its was already marked critical and they confirmed that it is reallt way overdue. I was also told that my request was not yet send to SARS for clearance, which is ome of the very 1st steps of the Sanlam process. Which means I am now actually back to day 1 of the process. I already made a booking to see a medical specialist in Pretoria on Wednesday to due my medical condition. I am unemployed so dont have an income. So now I need to cancel transport arrangements, accommodation arrangements and my doctor's appointment due to Sanlam's delay. This is totally unacceptable, unprofessional and poor management from Sanlam.
