This institution is a joke, the stuff is lazy all they do is gossip and laugh behind those close glass windows. The sad part they don't even attand to the email. I had a bursary that did not finish paying the full amount, so I decided to pay from my pocket cause I needed my documents, I thought I was trying to speed up the process so I can get my documents on time, apply for internships before they close most of them. Until today I haven't got my documents neither the money has it reflected on my student account. Neither of their lines is going through. I am so frustrated and they disgust me.

We app**** late year got accepted.student number issued 250565943. Registration opened 20th of January 2026. We are struggling to register online, no one is answering the calls. Documents uploaded but not proceed only matric How do we apply when the person that we are told to communicate with does answer his phone since on Monday Mr A Burt (021 953 8484) His expention no one is ever there no matter what time you call. That guy is not there actually no one answers their calls or reply to emails sent by my daughter. So now what? It's horrible how you are treating us. Registration due soon. Why are the documents not proceed to this far. It's really sad how we are being treated

CPUT Wellington create an account and charge almost R30k for registration after we send them an email on 5 Feb 2024 stating my daughter is cancelling their acceptance letter as she is going to study at another institution. She never set foot at their campus nor did she use any of their services or learning materials. The department that received the cancellation email never informed us that theur is a form that we need to complete or the process to submit the cancellation electronicly. We haven't heard from them in almost 2 years but now received a notice from their Debt Collectors for the outstanding amount. This is a total disgrace to humankind. Is this how CPUT enrich themselves from the poor and an unemployed, fulltime student for studying at another institution of her choice?

This is regarding the EFT refund process. I have already sent multiple emails—five in total—to different individuals at CPUT, and I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response and follow-through. Three of my emails bounced back, one of which was from Perry’s auto-reply stating he is retired, and that I should contact three other individuals. I proceeded to email the suggested contacts, but two of those emails also bounced back—one due to a failed delivery and the other because the person is on leave. I then contacted the CPUT Admin Office to confirm where the request should be sent. I was again provided with the same email addresses I had already used, which are clearly either incorrect or not being monitored. This experience has been frustrating and unacceptable, especially considering that I have paid over R36,000 to the institution. At this point, I do not know what further steps to take, and I do not feel comfortable leaving my refund unclaimed in the portal. I am requesting urgent assistance on how to proceed from here. Please advise on the correct contact person or department that can handle this matter effectively.

I'm battling in getting my reprint certificate from CPUT, I tried to follow their process but now the turnaround tie has lapsed. I'm not sure of what to do now and I really need it for employment purposes and they are delaying me.

I had to pay for a reprint of my Diploma even before I knew I was going to get any paperwork from them, so I did pay,they said, sorry we cannot find any diploma, I have now been asking for 2 weeks for my money back and still have not received the refund, CPUT do better!

Sent an email requesting of the institution graduation confirmation letter for internship program and a couple of weeks later still to receive reponse from the department.
