Disgruntled Client of almost 7 years So this morning - i get a message to say " Hi, your debit order on your Vodacom returned unpaid. Please SMS ARR to 31050 for more payment options or call - then i call client services but before i do i get this automated voice that tells me that i now owe them almost R150 MORE than what my actual debit order is for. Here's my dilemma I paid - on the 29th of August - Full amount I paid in July - Full amount I paid in June - Full amount But now i have a Vodacom Customer Service consultant tell me in a call that I am being penalized for not paying 5 days before my debit order goes off - because i paid 3 days via EFT ( Like i normally do) before my debit order was due i am being penalized almost R150 because i paid early but apparently TOO LATE according to Vodacom's Billings Dept - and i shouldn't take my stress out on him . When i told him i wanted to speak to a Supervisor, Teamleader or Manager he tells me there's no one around. they are not available. not a single manager - alluding to the fact that i will just need to probably pay this penalty because had i paid 5 days earlier and not 3 days i wouldnt be having these problems apparently. Client Services consultants now telling Consumers how much earlier to pay their accounts . Its not a great thing to pay early anymore. They will still try to debit you and then if they cant you have to pay your bank for unnecessary bounced debit orders. I AM LIVID!
I have recently found myself in a very distressing situation after finding out just how ruthless these people are. Ruthless, cunning and just absolutely appalling at how they ***** peoples hard earned money by running a very sophisticated *******!!!! Hello Peter should definitely have a NO STAR RATING FOR COMPANIES LIKE THIS. The start off asking you if you would like to work from home. playing on peoples emotions especially for those unable to work due to health related issues or physical complications or even people just trying to find some sort of online job. your first mistake is to say YES. it starts off quite innocent whereby they allow you to do simple little tasks like following a person, entity or group on whatsapp... they pay you R10 or R20 bucks... this goes on for like perhaps 5-6 times... then they calculatingly lure you in by telling you you need to make a wealth investment of R550 in order to get paid some R710, this is a once off thing they only tell you afterwards and this is the ONLY TIME you will ever get money back from them ... you ponder and make the decision to take the bite... but theyre clever ******* right .. so what do they do ... they dont automatically ***** your money .. they give you the the extra bit, and in doing so gains your trust ... They lose their sheeps clothing the next day as they provide you with a R10 here and a R10 there for some odd jobs again and now the goalpost has shifted.. Youre assigned a team. with a Teamleader Now youre told you need to make an investment of R1200 for a return of R1900 and you do it because you got paid less than R200 bucks earlier that day right ... You trust them ... AND THAT IS YOUR GREATEST MISTAKE BECAUSE RIGHT AFTER THAT, YOU THINK YOU WILL GET YOUR R1900 BUT THEY HOLD THAT MONEY HOSTAGE AND TRIES AND FORCES YOU TO MAKE ANOTHER PAYMENT OF R7500 - THAT INSTANT JUMP CAN EITHER PROVIDE a) A WAKE UP CALL B) GREED LUCKILY FOR MY HUSBAND HE ONLY LOST R1200 - I HOPE THEY GET ALL THAT THEY DESERVE FOR *****ING FROM PEOPLE THAT WORK HARD FOR THEIR MONEY
After a very exhausting and quite frankly irritating experience with some of Vodacom agents that feels it is okay to disconnect the line when a PAYING CLIENT asks to speak to a manager because they are unable to assist efficiently, i get the much needed help from Edwin and Shaheena Abdull from Online Sales. Shaheena was absolutely brilliant, knows her products inside out and Edwin was brilliant in assisting with my complaint with regards to the agents that deemed it fit to hang up on loyal Vodacom clients. I was at the point of cancelling when i spoke to Edwin the Friday and his efficiency and commitment to his job convinced me to upgrade my contract none the less. Shaheena called the Saturday and as previously mentioned was so efficient that i wanted to come on Hello Peter - register an account and praise the both of them. Thank you Shaheena and Edwin! You guys were absolutely amazing. You provided the level of Customer Centricity one would expect from Vodacom!
