Higher prices in store

I found a product I wanted to purchase on the Merrypak website but decided to come into the store to browse. I found the product on the shelf but the price was 25% higher in store (R285 online v R358 in store). This was the same item, with the same measurements, and same stock code. I went to enquire at customer services and they indicated that since their prices are "subject to change without notice" they would not honour the *current* price of the item as listed online. They were unphased about the discrepancy. I suggest that people consider simply ordering items online for collection at the Dispatch Counter since prices appear significantly hiked in store 😀
