Unsure of autosure

I replaced a part of my car. I looked and looked for policy document from when I bought the car warranty almost 2 years ago but alas, I couldn't find anything. I contacted the dealership, they directed me somewhere and then I got put in touch with someone else. They rejected the claim as I hadn't followed the policy. I told them they had never sent me the policy. They said they had via SMS. I'm out of pocket on the warranty and now on the claim. They deliberately send all the info via SMS so you never find it. It's time to renew my extended warranty and I won't go near them.
