Beware of Move Buddy – Dishonest and Unreliable Service

Their lack of communication and service is appalling. We booked your company to move our furniture from Pretoria to Cape Town on 2 November 2024 at 09:00. Three hours after the scheduled time, we were informed that the truck had mechanical issues. Despite your assurance that we would receive a full refund if we chose to cancel, no action has been taken. We sent the cancellation notice as instructed and requested our refund of R9,000. Since then, the only response has been that a cancellation form would be emailed—nothing more. This is nothing short of theft. You have taken our money and delivered absolutely no service. It is clear from numerous accounts online that this is a repeated pattern by your company. This is despicable. Not only will I ensure complaints are made on every platform possible, but I will also escalate this legally if the full refund is not processed immediately. Your company has proven to be dishonest and *********. If there is any integrity left, you will rectify this situation without delay. One star is not worth giving this company. RATED ZERO STARS.
