Asami Tygervalley
Asami’s Tygervalley has become my go-to spot for sushi. While it may not be the absolute best I’ve ever had, the quality and quantity are consistently impressive. Peter, the chef, whips up some of the best prawns you can get, definitely a highlight for me and a big reason I come back every month. I’ve tried sushi from four different Asami’s locations and the Tygervalley branch is definitely the best. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. If you’re in the area and craving good sushi, Asami’s Tygervalley is worth a visit!

Great ice creme
Kristen’s Kick-Ass Ice Cream in Constantia holds a special place in my heart. My girlfriend introduced me to this gem and it’s where we had our first date. While Kristen’s may be the second best ice cream I’ve had in Cape Town, the stunning rose garden and the company make it my absolute favorite ice cream spot. I can’t rate my first ice cream, the T.Rex, as it melted away while I was completely distracted by my beautiful date. However, I’ve been back several times since and they have never disappointed. The ice cream is consistently great and the ambiance is perfect for creating lasting memories. What are you waiting for? Head over to Kristen’s and treat yourself to some kick Ass ice cream!

Best Gelato
I can’t say enough good things about Moro Gelato! As a repeat customer, I’ve had the pleasure of trying several flavors and each one is a delightful experience. The pistachio is my absolute favorite, it’s rich, creamy and bursting with authentic flavor. But honestly, every flavor I’ve tried has been almost as good. The quality and taste of their gelato are unmatched, making it the best ice cream in town. The staff is always friendly and welcoming adding to the overall fantastic experience. If you’re in Cape Town and craving some top-notch gelato, Moro Gelato is the place to go!

I highly recommend Adrian and his workshop!
When my Discovery's engine seized, a friend recommended Adrian’s workshop. I gave him a call and he promptly arranged for my car to be towed in. It spent just over a month in the workshop and I was initially worried, especially after reading another review here. I visited the workshop the next day and heard their side of the story which gave me much needed reassurance. Today, my Discovery is running perfectly fine. I never did any heavy driving in the first 1000km or submerged the new engine in water and it’s performing exceptionally well. Thanks Adrian and team for your excellent service, you’ve got a loyal customer here!
