Not the place for a birth
Our birth story did not go as planned. We chose Blissful Birth Midwifery because they truly care and they really are fantastic. Our pregnancy ended up significantly overdue and due to the laws of our land we needed to be transferred to a hospital. We ended up at Netcare Garden City. What a terrible experience! Absolutely no care, you are just a number, another patient that truly needs all the patience you can muster and more. Rooms were way to hot, no Aircon or fans not even a window you can open. Luckily my wife and I had each other and the backing of our midwifery, Blissful Birth. I honestly don't know how a single mother would have done it. This is not the place to go if you are looking for that special birthing experience.

The Best
Our pregnancy ended up significantly overdue and unfortunately we needed to be transferred to a hospital. However, the support from every single person at Blissful was unwaivering. From birth prep classes and antenatal check ups to post birth support and guidance. The most important thing is that they truly care, which you will not find at any hospital. They care for the baby, the mom and the dad which makes you feel heard, loved and confident. Thank you to the whole Blissful Birth team you are angels!
