A follow up from my parents January experience - Travel in pride had mentioned to my parents that they would have to stay overnight in JHB on the 12th of January 2025 as they could not get a flight from JHB to DUR the same day - which is unprofessional at they needed to return to work on Monday morning. Out of frustration and being exhausted on their trip due to the run around that Travel in Pride had caused, my parents decided to book their own direct flight from CPT to DUR and requested Travel in Pride to cancel the CPT to JHB - Travel in Pride had advised that they will return all the monies owed to us - Travel in Pride said they would receive the money in 6 weeks (which would have been 02/03/2025) My parents have followed up with travel in pride, who promised they would return as soon as received - we have tried contacting them in the past week, and they will not take our call Please note that this company is unprofessional and lacks integrity - Would not recommend at all due to the lack of communication. We have paid them in full for their quoted price, however we still have not been reimbursed for any of the errors made by Travel in Pride especially after highlighting all the things they have booked wrong/ not followed through on: - vehicle rental - flight from DUR to CPT - additional parking - challenges with the room booking which they had cancelled initially without our knowledge and only rectified once we highlighted that we contacted the hotel and they notified us of the cancellation.
My parents booked a trip for their anniversary to CPT - it was the worst experience ever My parents planned this 6 weeks in advance, there were numerous mistakes from the hotels to the flight details made by Travel in Pride (we still have messages to them explaining the correct details, but they had still booked incorrectly) They refused to amend any of the mistakes they had made - including booking a flight from CPT to JHB (we are in Durban). My parents' trip was from 8 Jan 2025 to 12 Jan 2025, it is currently the 9th of Jan and Travel in Pride contacts us to state that they have not booked the connecting flight from DUR to JHB (they made the error initially and was asked to rectify) - that my parents have to travel back on Monday 13th Jan 2025. They refuse to absorb the cost of their error. Extremely unprofessional, they had also only sent all the finalized details on the the 8th of Jan, we have requested it from them numerous times before the date of travel, but they have just stated "your agent is on leave, we will find out and let you know" their contact details info@travelinpride.co.za and 031-023-0742 are unreachable, unfortunately they only contact you when they want to, and don't provide feedback or rectify.
