CURRO Creston College shocking gala
I attended a gala hosted by this school on the 11th February. This was a primary inter school gala hosted by Curro Creston. I have attended many galas before but have never seen anything this bad where primary school were deliberately cheated by a staff member Mandy Koegelenberg. She deliberately change the winner to second place due to the fact that the winner was not her swimmer. When the parents query why the response by Curro was that Mandy changed it even if the swimmers was faster on the stopwatch because she saw it. In my career as a coach I have never experienced a starter and judge override a stopwatch. She made sure her swimmer won the age group and Victor. Her swimmer even expressed that he should not be the overall winner. The medal and trophy was given to Mandy swimmer and later stripped and handed to the correct swimmer. Both boys ended in tears. We have noticed that Mandy did similar things to 4 other swimmers. My understanding was that all CURRO schools have the etos of being a fair school. I AM SORRY THE BEHAVIOR OF THIS STAFF MEMBER WAS NOT IN LINE WITH YOUR ETOS. Due to these actions I can inform you that not many of these kids will not choose Creston Curro as their High school.
