I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against LAMAVUSO CREDIT SOLUTIONS (PTY) LTD (NCRC***736), with whom I engaged for debt counseling services. Background of the Issue: In 2024, I signed up with LAMAVUSO CREDIT SOLUTIONS to assist with the removal of my debt review status. Unfortunately, after agreeing to their terms, they became unresponsive for approximately two months. On December 2024, they ********ly deducted R3500 from my FNB account despite my prior request to change the payment method to my Capitec account. Their system retains both accounts, and they seem to attempt deductions from FNB if funds are unavailable in Capitec. In January 2025, I contacted them to cancel the contract. They provided a cancellation form via WhatsApp, which I completed and returned via email. Despite this cancellation, they continue to attempt unauthorized deductions from my account, leading to accumulating bank fees. Request for Action: I kindly request your intervention in this matter as I believe LAMAVUSO CREDIT SOLUTIONS is not adhering to the regulations set forth by the National Credit Act. I have made several attempts to resolve this issue directly with them but have not received a satisfactory response.
