I will not recommend ABSA incurance
ABSA UNPROFESSIONAL AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE This matter is now becoming completely ridiculous. I can't believe that a large company like ABSA are happy to provide such unprofessional and poor customer service. I ask that a manager or CEO contact me please. I have been trying since the 6th of January for someone to contact me from ABSA to help me. I keep getting automated messages with reference numbers. If you call numbers that are on Google, you are told that the lines are busy, then you sit for 2 hours plus, if you are lucky and someone answers and the person cannot help you, then you are redirected again and then you sit again for 2 hours and wait. I received an email yesterday saying my car insurance has been canceled due to extremely poor service and no money will be deposited from my account. Now I get the sms: Absa Insurance: Dear MRS AJ LAMPRECHT, we have not received your Activate insurance premium for policy no..... . Please contact us on 0860 222 762 or email ActivateAdmin@absa.africa to make payment arrangements, alternatively, we will collect the outstanding premium with your next debit order. Auth FSP 8030 You are not authorized to deduced any money of my account I think this is unacceptable and show no respect to clients I want this matter resolved today Jeannie Lamprecht
ABSA Activate is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. No one answers calls at the call centre, you literally have to stay on the phone for about 2 HOURS while it rings with no answer!!! I have tried emailing and calling them since the 6th of January 2025. I have now cancelled my car insurance with them via email. I hope I will receive confirmation from them as soon as possible
