You can buy the exact same rings on Temu for about R100. I paid R1440 for my ring from Orbit called "Celtic Gold", and it's sold on Temu right now for R89. You are welcome to go and look for yourself.
If you're searching for reviews on Orbit Rings to determine whether or not you should buy from them, then this is the review you should read. When you order from them, you will get speedy service and delivery. The product looks exactly like the photos as well. Why the 1-star review, I hear you ask? Because the website and company are dishonest. They insinuate that they make or design the products that you see on the website. Below is an excerpt taken from their "Care and Guarantee" page that can be found here: https://www.orbitrings.co.za/pages/care-guarantee In that page it reads: "We invest time and money in research to find materials, finishes and sealants of the highest quality to ensure that our pieces will exceed your expectations. Material used includes natural pieces like wood, gemstones, dried flowers, antler, meteorite which might have irregularities, inclusions and variations that are unique and characteristic of that specific material." They make you believe that these rings are made or designed by them when that is simply not the case. Don't believe me? Just visit the Temu website and search "tungsten carbide rings for men". You will find all of the men's rings that Orbit sells in that search. I bought my wedding ring, Celtic Gold, from Orbit Rings thinking that it's different and unique. The joke was on me. The same ring is being sold right this moment on Temu for R89 (the price varies between R89 and R109). What did Orbit Rings charge me? R1440. THAT IS A MARKUP OF 1518% !! Do not be a fool. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! I haven't bought anything else from them but if I were to guess, all their other products are likely also cheap imports that they simply had branded with their logo. I've seen that personally with other well-known companies. I have also contacted them with this issue and after waiting a week, I am yet to receive any word from them. You are warned.
Orbit is simply importing cheap rings from places that are definitely not local. I bought a ring from them for R1440 in 2023. Today I coincidentally saw it listed on Temu for R109. Don't believe me? Just look for yourself. It's easy to find every one of their rings on Temu. So I paid R1440 for a ring worth R109 - a markup of 1220% !!! Be careful who you buy from.
