3 weeks ago I contacted Old Mutual as I had a problem with my Samsung washing machine because I know that I have a one hour free call out. When I called the person on the other side told me that she would call me back after she gets a technician. After an hour I called back and she asked to verify my address which I did. She then told me that it was not the same and 1 month prior to this I changed my address as I moved house. Now I had clothes in the machine that needs to be washed as I need clothes for the following week. The lady from old mutual told me that she can only rectify the address on Monday so I had to call a technician and pay for the call out from my own pocket. On Monday I called in to ask why hasn't my address being changed and the lady says she's not sure so I contacted my broker Eunice from Universal Call Centre and asked her what was going on and she said that she would check and come back. The week passed and I asked for reimbur*****t for the monies I spent. On Friday a lady from finance calls me and says that she is going to pay but she needs an invoice, I told her that I sent it to my broker and then I asked if my address had being changed and she said I wasn't and she was going to sort it out. She never came back to me. I called my broker and asked what was going on with my address and she said that she will sort it out and will pay me on Monday. I was out of Durban on business and returned on Tuesday. I received an email stating that someone else was attending to my case. So I called my broker and asked her what was going on as I thought I was getting reimbursed on Monday, so I asked for her Manager who's name is Mohammed. He came on the line and said that my claim was rejected and I told him but I didn't put through a claim but a reimbur*****t and he said yes they can't reject a reimbur*****t. He said that they sent it to Swiftcare to handle the case. Then I had Razia from Finance call me and say that my debit didn't go off. I asked her why was my debit order going off on the 6th when I had monies debited on the 26th. She then told me that the account is messed up and will get back to me which she never did. I then tried calling Mohammed several times but to no avail so I sent a message to him to contact me and he asked the broker to call me. I asked the broker to speak to someone more senior and she gave me Ricky Soobramoney who is the broker manager. Ricky calls me and I had to tell everything again and he said that what Eunice and Mohammed has done is wrong and he will rectify it and I asked him for the recordings and he said ok. So he sends me a message saying he can't give me the recordings as they need to first investigate. So I called Ricky asking him what's going on and he said that the lady Razia didn't hear clearly and put in the wrong date and she made a mistake but I can't receive my reimbur*****t as my policy isn't paid. So I sent them a bank statement showing that my monies were debited. Now they refuse to take my calls and they tried debiting on the 6th and there wasn't any monies in the account and now I have to pay bank charges plus I have an unpaid debit with the bank. Please help
Good morning My name is Atish. I purchased a Defy fridge from Makro Springfield in August 2024. Ever since I have being having problems with the fridge. I have contacted Makro as well as Defy. Defy sent a sub contacted company that does their work for them. The technician came out and told us that the dispenser rubber on the fridge needs to be changed and he has ordered a rubber and will come through at the beginning of January to change it but ever since i have tried several times to get a hold of him but have failed. He kept making false promises. The items in my fridge is getting damaged and it's costing me alot to replace it. Please can someone help us. Thank you
