I am very disappointed in Coolideas as a services provider. I actually do not want to use their services anymore. I have been following up with them and their agents since last week, first I could not get a straight answer from one of your agents Mavelous or Mavels if that is her name, I don't even know if she is indeed one of your agents here in Vanderbijlpark, this is her number 0656708415. If she is indeed working for you, she is the worst person I have ever encountered in the services industry. After not getting a straight answer from your agents Mavelous, I then called directly on Saturday 1 February 2025, firstly I spoke to Lydia, who was not helpful at all, but she did tell me, I needed to pay a reconnection fee of R1000 to get reconnected again, and she told me it would take atleast 24-48 hours to get connected again. She could not guarantee me the estimated time of connection, so she transferred me to the Connect department. I spoke to Babalwa and she checked, and she reassured me that if I were to get another service provider I will not face any issues with getting connected, because I nolonger wanted to use your services anymore, but she convinced me to stay with Coolideas, which I did ( now I regret it). After Babalwa convinced me to stay with Coolides she was very helpful, She told me again that a reconnection fee of R1000 needed to be paid in order to get connected again, of which I did. I paid the R1000 reconnection fee on Saturday February 1st and emailed the proof of payment to Billing@coolides.co.za, I sent a follow-up email this morning only to be told again via email to provide the proof of payment, which I sent via email AGAIN. One hour went by without a response from the connect department. I called in today and was transferred to 4 different people, (your agents playing ping pong with me) None of them could repeat their names for me when I asked, they sounded annoyed and disinterested over the phone. The lady I spoke to before being transferred 3 times, put me on hold for almost 10 minutes (bad telephone etiquette) only to tell me she could not find my payment. She then tranfered me to somebody else, and this person also transferred me to another person in the billing department. I was made to repeat myself again and again to 3 different people. It took the billing department 5 minutes to find my payment, then I was told that I needed to wait a few days to get reconnected. I am very frustrated and I am thinking of canceling my connection with Coolides, I will not wait a few day to get reconnected, so please get my home wifi reconnected before the end of today or you refund me back my reconnection fee and release my network line so I get move forward with another services provider, that knows how to treat its customers with respect. I will surely write a review about my experience with you guys and make sure I let people know how bad Coolideas customer service is.
After an inactive account, we tried to reconnect our home wifi connection again, we have been trying to contact them since last week, spoke to a lady called Marvellous or Mavel, she could could barely assist over the phone, and when we asked her for assistance to help reactivate the account she went around in circle trying to explain something I could not understand. Anyway at the end she I formed me that we are currently connected to coolideas, and they need to disconnect - which will be done on the 31st and we will get out connection after coolideas has disconnected their network. We have been trying to contact Zoom Network since this afternoon, with no success of being reconnected back to our home wifi. (I don't know if they understand how important having wifi is these days.) After being in contact with their office via email, we were told the wifi should be connected after an hour, this is after calling them at 4 pm. It's now 6pm still no home connection wifi from Zoom.
