I am writing this as a very stressed and disappointed student. Campus begins in less then a week, and I still have not received any confirmation regarding my bursary application. I have tried following up with my advisor, yesterday and today and received no response. I later found out she is not in the office. I have also reached out to other advisors and have received no feedback. As a student, this is extremely distressing. My ability to register, prepare, and attend classes depends entirely on this decision. Being left without communication so close to the start of the academic term is not only unprofessional but deeply disheartening. All I am asking for is clarity, whether approved or declined, so that I can plan accordingly. The silence is what is most concerning. I truly hope this matter is addressed urgently, as no student should feel this uncertain days before campus.
Capitec bank brackenfell branch. The lady gave me so much attitude. She asked for my ID number & I just said a number wrong and then I wanted to double check and I read it off my card and then SHE TYPED WRONG. and told me with a stink attitude "you reading off the card and you still reading wrong" I didn't say that I saw her type the wrong numbers because I know how to carry myself. IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB, LEAVE ! don't treat people ugly. Capitec has no customer service whatsoever, don't know how to be professional.
I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from Boston City Campus. Due to an administrative error, my student status was incorrectly changed from full time to part time, resulting in an extended study duration. This mistake has caused me undue stress. What's even more concerning is the poor communication from the college. The student advisor admitted that they simply assumed I knew the difference between part time and full time status, despite never explicitly informing me. They failed to communicate that taking 6 modules would affect my student status, leaving me unaware of the implications. To make matters worse, the degree I took was supposed to be a 3 year program. However, due to this error, what was supposed to be my final year this year has now become my 3rd out of 5 years. I had no choice but to accept this, as I didn't budget for taking additional subjects that would make me finish earlier. Now I have to just deal with the consequences of THEIR mistake. Furthermore, I paid my USAF fee on March 1st 2023, and provided proof of payment. The student advisor then rep**** with "thank you will send it through to the financial department". However, two years later, there's claims that their financial department cannot find any record of my payment. This is unacceptable and poor record keeping. I've really enjoyed my studies at Boston, but now it's just become disappointing and I wouldn't recommend this college to anyone. I hope that Boston city campus takes immediate action to improve their communication & problem solving skills, taking accountability, rectifying these issues and provide better service to their students.
