I bought a new engine from Ford, and Chris Visser, the owner at Worcester JCS Bosch assured me he can install it in my Ranger bakkie in a day or two. After many weeks and lots of excuses I was told to collect but the vehicle overheated immediately. I turned out that one of the water hoses were not connected. The engine was opened without permission from Ford and a gaskets were replaced, but it turns out the engine is permanently damaged, overheats and leaks oil. Ford inspected the engine and informed me that the guarantee is not valid any more. After having waited for 61 days I now have a permanently damaged engine without a guarantee and the owner of the business refuses to replace it at his cost. I would be foolhardy for anyone to do business with this person.
When purchasing the vehicle the assistant asked me to swipe my credit card a second time because the "transaction did not go through". Later through my bank statements it became clear that I did in fact pay the deposit twice. It is now more than two months and they still say they are working on it.... More than 20 emails, messages and phone calls have taken place - they are either trying to ***** my deposit or they are totally ***********.
I am stuck in Suriname - my creditcard has been stopped, although there is plenty of money on it. I have written two emails to nedbank over the last two days without getting any response. I also contacted my brother in SA, he phoned them and they agreed to phone me via whatsapp immediately. This has also not happened. I am getting absolutely no support although stuck in a foreign land without a card to buy a airplane ticket out of here.
