Active since Feb 2025
On 29 February 2023, I purchased an extended warranty with Nedbank MFC. I was told it would start when my Hyundai warranty ended. Instead, MFC backdated my policy to July 2023, even though Hyundai’s drivetrain warranty was still active until July 2025. This means Nedbank MFC knowingly sold me cover that overlapped with my existing warranty, effectively shortening my protection and misleading me as a customer. When I discovered this: On 23 January 2025, my policy had to be “activated” only after escalation. On 12 September 2025, a manager admitted it was mishandled. On 15 September 2025, a team leader misled me about my rights, gave inconsistent answers, and even tried to block my access to my own call recordings. 🔴 Questions MFC cannot answer: Why can you notify me when my warranty expires but not when it starts? How can you backdate a policy to overlap with an active manufacturer warranty? Why mislead me about my rights to recordings and provide false information? This is not only poor service but feels like deliberate misrepresentation. I demand immediate correction of my policy, access to my recordings, and a formal apology. If this is not resolved urgently, I will escalate to the Ombudsman, FSCA, and National Consumer Commission. #Nedbank #NedbankMFC #Innovation
Last month, I bought a radio from World of Electronics, and unfortunately, the radio was not working from the start. I returned it within two days, on the same day I bought it, hoping for a resolution. Now, after following up, I informed them that I no longer want the radio and would like a refund. To my shock, they refused to refund me and told me I must take the radio back "by force," which is unacceptable. The staff member I dealt with was extremely rude, both when I returned the product and during the recent phone call. I am very disappointed with the poor customer service and how this matter has been handled. I expected a simple and fair resolution, but instead, I was met with disrespect and an unwillingness to help. I do not recommend this store to anyone.
PMD has failed to resolve my vehicle issues since 2023, showing poor communication and unprofessionalism. They ignore evidence of accident-related damage, falsely claiming "wear and tear," and refuse to provide requested reports and recordings. Their lack of accountability, delayed responses, and dismissive attitude are unacceptable.
