I've insured my motorcycles with Omni for over six years. In that time, I've needed to claim three times — once for a motorcycle theft, once for minor damage in an accident, and once for a third party claim. Every interaction and dealing I've had with them has been professional, friendly and I truly have the sense that they are invested in my security. Their premiums are also very reasonable.
I'm shocked and disappointed by the anti-customer attitude at IStore Cavendish Square. I bought close to R50,000 worth of items from them in February, including a Thunderbolt 2 cable which I mistakenly believed was Thunderbolt 3 (it was just labeled as "Thunderbolt", and the cable looked very similar). This lay in my drawer for several months while I waited for the Thunderbolt dock I had ordered to arrive. When I realized I had bought the incorrect cable, I returned it in mint, never-used condition to the iStore with my receipt. The manager refused to refund or exchange the item, saying that "the system would not allow" her to do so after this period of time. Although I realize that more than 3 months have transpired, and that the iStore was under no obligation to refund or exchange, I would have expected better treatment as a customer who has spent a great deal of money at the store... surely R50,000 is a good enough price to pay for some understanding and "above and beyond" service for a valuable customer. I will be looking elsewhere for my Apple needs in the future.
