After nearly 3 yrs of zero claims, I tried claiming for my bakkies broken ignition keys(R10000), the remotes rubber buttons had perished due to wear and tear. I was asked to fill in the required details with pics, which I did. But the emails kept coming- where did it happen, on which date, why did they break.I am a busy person with limited time and don't appreciate their claims process as they are the middle man between yourself and the insurers so instead of speaking to one person, you are always been sent questions from another which has been sent from another.I decided to rather cancel as I was used to a faultless easy claim process in the past with previous companies, and not being faced with lots of stupid questions, which in my opinion were just a smoke haze to not pay.Turns out it was the best decision in a long time.My new insurance company is bigger better and much more professional, many many more benefits for R1000+ less per months Unfortunately I took the bad advice of a colleague and ultimately 'Paid the price' Judging by the reviews, it seems like these little mickey mouse places just want to suck you dry and won't pay ANYONE out in a hurry if 'Their Insurers' can get away with it.Stay away-You HAVE been warned.

I've insured my motorcycles with Omni for over six years. In that time, I've needed to claim three times — once for a motorcycle theft, once for minor damage in an accident, and once for a third party claim. Every interaction and dealing I've had with them has been professional, friendly and I truly have the sense that they are invested in my security. Their premiums are also very reasonable.

They don't deserve any star. I requested a refund after clicks online failed to fill my order. I made a request mid April. Till today I haven't got my refund. And I am told by their consultants that funds have been deposited. But nothing is there. Very bad

My daughter has a small third party claim against ominsure's client. The matter is under R5k and the matter is not address despite Mark Maritz instructing Thando Mabena to move the matter up to negotiator. Thando's phone just rings and his emails are returned even though it is the correct email address. Mark has also not responded to follow up's on the matter. Really poor service - please can someone assist as this has been going on for over 2 months. Thank you

Pathetic service from Omnisure. Was involved in an accident a few months ago.I was stationary at the robot when the other guy did not stop behind me,damaging the rear end of my vehicle. The panelbeaters elected to perform the repair on my vehicle called me to notify that Omnisure only catered for 'generic' parts to be replaced on my vehicle. My arguement is that my vehicle has only been serviced with original genuine parts since its lifetime.Furthermore generic parts decreases the value of the vehicle but my premium would not be lowered.I have asked on multiple occasions why these damages are not claimed from the counterparties insurer, with no response. The clerk merely does a copy and paste response to counter the claims. It has been 2 weeks since her last response. I have not heard any correspondence since. We are just bullied into accepting inferior services from these providers. We dont pay 'generic' premiums every month. We pay genuine. So when it comes to claims stop ripping us off. At least have the decency to respond to your clients.

I'm getting so sick of this company sending me SMS messages about this, that and the next thing. I swear I spend half my waking hours opting out to constant and incessant unsolicited and, actually, completely irrelevant offers. "Logan.Make the wise choice. SAVE with car&home insurance from Old Mutual iWYZE.For peace of mind, reply YES (FREE SMS)/NO to opt out.Ts&Cs apply FSP12" Lets just forget the embarrassing grammar here for a minute... The SMS to opt out, I have to assume isn't free - so you require me to pay to get you to leave me alone. Cheeky. After that, I have no house, I have no car. You're offering this insurance to someone who has nothing to insure. Lets make a deal here: When I need insurance, I'll go looking for it and I MAY contact you at that time. Until then, how about you just leave me the hell alone already? Okay? Sound fair?

Terrible claims process, took us in excess of 3 months to get a claim processed. Omni is a middle man between client and insurers. When my son was in a motorcycle accident due to a faulty mechanism on the bike and the bike was subsequently written off, he was instructed by Omni to get quotes for the bike himself. He had to arrange his own transport etc to get the bike to the various places for quotes. They initially had a problem with the quote supplied by Suzuki themselves which caused further delay. For everything there had to be a call to the Insurers (we still dont know who they are)- further delays. No feedback from the consultant, Samantha. I had to write several emails and made many calls to them to get feedback. They told us to get a settlement letter from the bank, just to find this is the incorrect process and they should infact have requested the letter as it is different to the ones given to clients. Long story short, the initial claim was submitted 6 November 2017 and the final letter for settlement was submitted by Omni to the bank on 27 February- PATHETIC!! It seems these people dont know their processes and in general dont have a clue and we would NOT recommend them to anyone!
