I had the most horrible first time gynecologist experience. Would not recommend her at all. I felt intense pain during the examination to the point where I started screaming and she didn't do anything to ease the discomfort or explain anything. I was in so much pain that the examination couldn't be completed. She seemed annoyed if anything else. Once we were back in her office and I had some questions she was dismissive and condescending. My husband asked why I would be experiencing such pain and her response was "some people are just afraid of doctors". I also asked her which supplements I should take and she said "you can get anything on the shelf" I was embarrassed and traumatised afterwards and had to make sense of the entire experience all by myself on the way home on the Internet and came to the conclusion that I should probably see a pelvic floor specialist. She also makes you sign a whole bunch of documents before you even go in to protect herself from you "complaining on social media". She has zero bedside manner and by the looks of it picks and chooses who she will treat nicely. The ladies in the front office were also gossiping about one of her currently admitted patients. The entire practice lacks compassion, kindness and professionalism.
Absolutely atrocious service. I had the most horrible experience at Sorbet the Grove today. They have a "you don't pay if you're not happy policy" then when you voice that you are not happy staff (Lee) start shouting at you and saying "you didn't have the money to pay in the first place" and threatens that if "you don't pay you're not leaving" etc. and the manager Khanyi just stands there and let's her staff behave like that. Their treatments are pathetic for the price. They also say they do acrylic but end up doing it paper thin, and then filing on top of it as well (Ntombi) and when you ask her she says that's how it's done at sorbet. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. Ended up paying R785 for pathetic treatments and to be shouted at by staff and told I can't leave until I pay.
