February 2025 I requested for their services. My iPhone was cracked on both screens, I even wrote a review and they tried to "bribe" me by saying that they'll fix my phone for free I remove my review and I said no. They wanted me to pay for a damage that was caused by them. I even tried going to small claims court, sent them a letter and they said they won't pay me my money back. I even went to iStore they said they can't fix a phone that has third party products, when I told the owner of iPhix he said iStore is talking ****. They provided me with **** products whereas when I was communicating with them they said the products are the original products of an iPhone. It's been months now without having access to my phone, I can't even sell or fix it. I've went to like 5 different people and they're all saying the same thing, that i should go back to the people who were fixing the phone. And I can't even send them summons from the court because they're based in Boksburg and I'm in Pretoria. I highly don't recommend their services, they're ****mers.
My iPhone was cracked back and front screen. I texted them on WhatsApp to book an appointment, they arrived same and fixed the screen on-site. I couldn't properly use my phone because it had elastic bands and I was told to remove them after 24hrs. The next day I turned my phone on, connected to WiFi but my mobile network was not working (mind you, it was working when screen was broken because I could see the network and the name of the service provider). I tried updating my phone and it couldn't update. The phone was frozen for a few hours and couldn't touch the screen. I erased the phone hoping that it would solve the network issue but it didn't because there was a problem with activation caused by the network which was not working. I mentioned this to Iphix and they said it couldn't be them who did that to my phone and I asked them how because the network was fine until they fixed the phone. There was also lack of communication from their side, I'd send messages and they wouldn't respond. They also wanted me to pay R2500 for them to assess the phone. I took the phone iStore to update it and I heard shocking news. They told me that my phone couldn't not update because the phone doesn't recognise the screen, they said the screen is a third party as well as the backglass and apparently there was damage done during the repair. I told the guy from Iphix exactly this and he said that's not true, and he only responded to my texts when I mentioned that I'll have to take legal action against them. He said they'll come but only to find out they sent Courier Guy without even talking to me about the additional costs because I knew they wouldn't do it for free. I asked my partner to assist me and when he called the guy he **** and said they spoke to about everything, on WhatsApp he said to partner that the people at iStore don't know what they're talking about. Now they're not answering their calls or texts. Please avoid these people, they're ****mers. They told me that the screen is original but only to find out that it wasn't. Avoid them at all costs because when you start having problems with your phone they'll ignore you or charge you extra money for the damage they've done.
