I purchased 6 dining chairs from Coricraft at the end of August 2025 for R24,000. The chairs were delivered at the beginning of September — and all 6 were very poorly manufactured. Seams were open, the fabric ripped, and the inner material was already coming out. I immediately reported the issue and received 6 replacement chairs. Unfortunately, the replacement chairs had exactly the same problems — again no quality control, seams not stitched properly, and filling visibly coming out. Last week, I received a third set of chairs from Johannesburg and had to send 3 of those back on delivery due to the same defects. I am now left with only 5 chairs, and in fact only one of them is in acceptable condition. I reported this again on Monday, 6 October, but as of 10 October, I have received no solution or follow-up from Coricraft’s customer care. The shop assistant in Paarl has been trying to help and escalated the matter, yet nobody from Coricraft head office has bothered to call me or take any responsibility. This experience has been an absolute disgrace. The quality control is non-existent, and customer service is completely unresponsive. I have spent weeks going back and forth, with no usable dining set and no compensation. To make matters worse, when I requested a refund, I was told that there would be a 10% cancellation fee — for what? For Coricraft’s failure to deliver a product that meets basic quality standards? I will never purchase anything from Coricraft again, and I strongly caution others to think twice before spending their hard-earned money on products that clearly lack any form of quality control or after-sales support.
We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from Jessica at Louw & Coetzee Estate Agents during our purchase at Beauvais Hills. From the start, it felt like her only objective was to secure the sale – with no genuine interest in assisting us beyond that point. Since signing, we have received little to no support. Numerous emails have gone unanswered, including those directed to the owner, Francois, who also never responded. There has been a complete lack of accountability and communication. Any issues raised are simply blamed on the developer, with no effort made to offer solutions or support. Our property has now been in the building phase for over nine months, with delays and broken promises at every turn. What was initially presented to us as a smooth and well-managed process has turned into a frustrating experience full of empty promises. Working with this team has been very disappointing. There is clearly no value placed on customer service, transparency, or after-sales care. We would not recommend them to anyone.
I am a Discovery client since almost 10 years and it is such disgrace to have to deal with them. They claimed one of my doctor visits from my savings account instead of my included benefits. 3 phone calls and 5 emails later the error is still not fixed. They are very quick to take your money but if they make an error and owe you they take forever to solve it and just don't care. Zero customer service. Every single time I phone they say it will take 2-3 working days and that is now going on since 2 weeks. It is horrible to deal with them they have no sense of customer service the call center agents have no clue either. What am I paying for here??
