At first this may seem like a good option for new tenants. They are responsive to messages, even after hours, which creates a positive initial impression. However, our experience after the lease ended was extremely disappointing. Our lease ended at the end of January but only received our deposit back in April, after repeated follow-ups and unnecessary delays. Despite this, a deposit handling fee was still deducted, even though the process took nearly two months longer than it reasonably should have. Based on our experience, we would not recommend renting with them.

Since moving into the unit we have experienced several ongoing issues, including: Dry walls between units not disclosed during the viewing Stove advertised as gas, but the unit has an electric stove (later dismissed as a mistake) Loud plumbing pipes that have not been fixed Burst geyser Late handover of keys on the day of moving in, which resulted in additional moving costs for us Agent being rude and dismissive, with responses such as: “You are on a roll again” when concerns were raised Bathroom light (requiring an electrician) and extractor fan only repaired more than a year after moving in Ongoing parking disputes, noise complaints, and privacy concerns Incorrect information provided during the viewing regarding the back area, which affects our privacy and parking arrangements While some issues were eventually resolved, the main concern is the dismissive and unprofessional manner in which concerns are handled when they are raised. Since moving in, the situation has caused a significant amount of stress and dissatisfaction in our home environment. Many of these issues could have been avoided if accurate information had been provided during the viewing and if maintenance concerns had been addressed in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the rental market is currently very difficult, which makes it challenging to move elsewhere. It is therefore disappointing that our experience with this company has been so negative. Based on our experience over the past three years, we would not choose to deal with this company again and would not recommend them to family or friends, particularly given the way our concerns have been handled.

My experience with them, every interaction from start to finish, was absolutely stellar. I've dealt with many other big property companies, but Louw & Coetzee have been the best by far. I read other negative reviews and my honest experience has been totally different. Perhaps its about the agent that you get - for us, Jessica Kolver-Louw was fantastic. She was not at all pushy or tried to rush a sale - quite the opposite - she always took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure we were happy before committing. My family and I are really grateful to Jessica and all at Louw & Coetzee for their amazing service. Thank You.

Highly recommend Louw & Coetzee Properties. We viewed properties with Emmy Swartz and from viewing through to sending applications she was thorough and polite. My fiance and I had all our needs taken into account when enquiring about our new possible rentals and she made sure she met these requirements all the way through. Highly professional and insightful. We look forward to continuing our relationship with this firm and Emmy.

We are extremely disappointed with the service we received from Jessica at Louw & Coetzee Estate Agents during our purchase at Beauvais Hills. From the start, it felt like her only objective was to secure the sale – with no genuine interest in assisting us beyond that point. Since signing, we have received little to no support. Numerous emails have gone unanswered, including those directed to the owner, Francois, who also never responded. There has been a complete lack of accountability and communication. Any issues raised are simply blamed on the developer, with no effort made to offer solutions or support. Our property has now been in the building phase for over nine months, with delays and broken promises at every turn. What was initially presented to us as a smooth and well-managed process has turned into a frustrating experience full of empty promises. Working with this team has been very disappointing. There is clearly no value placed on customer service, transparency, or after-sales care. We would not recommend them to anyone.
