I placed an order for a Cielo coffee table on 27th November 2025. I received an email on 28th November stating the coffee table was on back order and would reach the stores within a couple of days. I then emailed in December advising of my house move coming up mid-January and asked for the delivery date so I could confirm which address it should be delivered to. I was again asked for the new delivery address and I again asked for the delivery date so I could advise if I would still be at my current or new address. It has been an absolutely dismal experience. I decided to call this morning with it now being over 5 weeks since I placed my order to try get an answer out of someone. First I was put through and then cut off. On my second attempt I was put through and reached someone's voicemail. On the third attempt I was put through to Chante who actually was the lady who kept emailing me for my delivery address but could not provide me with the delivery date. I asked that some one please come back to me today with the delivery date - it is now afterhours and I have not heard back from anyone at Cielo. Absolutely shocking service!
I am already a Discovery client, already linked to and have their credit card, insurance, medical aid. I made a call yesterday Wednesday 6 August to Discovery Bank requesting the opening of a bank account. After holding on for quite a while I was assured that someone would make contact and return my call yesterday. No call came. I again called today, same story, held on for a while, spoke to someone who again assured me that someone would call me today, and still I wait!
Absolute ****mers - Money Grabbers - AVOID signing up!!! I signed up for one month - which showed as a single payment. Have spent 2 weeks sifting through profiles of people who do not exist. I went on to cancel, followed the route on the website. Kept getting responses that they have not received my cancellation. Asked for profile to be deleted. Told I couldn’t delete had to cancel first! After a week of backwards and forwards, my subscription has been “cancelled” BUT is not cancelled for another month as they didn’t receive my cancellation 7 days before expiry of the one month I signed up for. So a 2nd month’s premium will be removed from my credit card! ABSOLUTE **** dating site! I had been trying to cancel 2 weeks into the one month’s subscription. Don’t go anywhere near this site!!
