I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at BSG in Jet Park. In October 2023, I had my windscreen replaced at BSG. Last month, my windscreen was hit by a stone from a truck, resulting in a small chip. I went to have the chip repaired today, and the technician Sam at BSG in Jet Park who handled the repair ended up cracking my windscreen. I am extremely unhappy with the way this situation has been handled. The least BSG could do is refund me the R250 I paid for the chip repair, as the repair has only resulted in additional costs for me. I was not informed upfront that this repair would be at my own risk, and while I later saw this on the invoice, I did not read it thoroughly at the time. The salesperson should have made this clear before proceeding with the repair, ensuring I was fully aware of the risks involved. Now, I am being told that I need to pay R1600 for a new windscreen, which feels unfair given the circumstances. The service I received from BSG has been extremely disappointing, and I feel that the company is simply taking advantage of customers.
