I was a regular patron of Hennies before the last heavy lockdown. Yesterday our group of friends decided to go back to our place. We phoned and booked a 7pm table. On arrival we were told that they gave our table away, even though we were not late. We were shoved into a corner table, that was so disgustingly sticky. The waiter arrived with no mask on to inform us that the kitchen closes at 7:15. Two hours before closing!!!! This was not communicated to us when making a booking. There was 0 covid compliance happening. The place was over 100% capacity and everyone was walking around without masks, just the fact that the waiter arrives at our table with no mask. Will I return? Never. Bookings mean nothing, 0 covid compliant and kitchen closes so early, tells me that’s it’s now just a **** up joint. Stay away if you form PTA covid hotspot.
I have been a victim of identity theft on telkom. I have been trying to sort it out for months. Every time I phone and spend hours on the phone with telkom that assure me it is sorted. This month over R1000 was taken out of my account from telkom for this account. I have a police affidavit that states I have NO accounts with telkom. The man that has opened my account is Calvin, he lives at 39 Impala Ave Kempton park. His number is 0729194322. He obviously Fraudulently signed a debit order in my name and telkom has 0 ID proof for this.
On the 11th November I was woken up by sms’s notifying me of transactions for Uber San Francisco I phoned Capitec straight away and the card was cancelled and then went into the bank and a very helpful gentleman gave me an incident number and told me that it should be resolved within 7 to 15 working days. I then phoned after 9 working days and was then told that the incedent will only be resolved after 30 days as this is their turn around time. This is absolutely ridiculous!! This was money that we have to live in month-to-month so now I am out of pocket. I sent proof via email that I do not know anybody in San Francisco and have never even used UBER. When I went into the bank very helpful gentleman told me that this is a big problem with the bank and they and clients always complains but the bank don’t seem interested in doing anything about it. To wait 30 days for money That was taken out of the account is ridiculous!! at no point did I let the bank know that I was travelling overseas so any overseas transactions should have been red flagged straight away!! I did not receive an OTP on this transaction, I should’ve been in contacted straight away and this transaction should not have been allowed to go through. As soon as this matter has been resolved I will be closing my account. The only helpful person I have encountered has been the gentleman at the branch, call centre ladies have all been short and uninformed.
I bought a product online and have been batteling ever since to get my product!! It usually takes about 3 days just to get through to the call Centre, even though I have the switch board number. Today I have tried since 9am and it is now 15:10 and still no answer. Phone or tune carries on until I get cut off. It has been 3 weeks and I have got through twice and been promised my product within the next 2 days and I am still waiting!! Rather go into the shop then order online because I actually think online shopping does not exist for dion wired!!!!!!!
