I recently had a very disappointing experience with Ted Baker regarding a pair of white sneakers I purchased in October last year. Despite wearing them only three times (in February and May), the shoe lace tore on the third occasion while I was simply tying it - no excessive force was app****. I visited a Ted Baker store to complain, bringing the shoe box and paper bag as proof of purchase. However, the staff were unhelpful and refused to assist me because I didn't have a receipt slip. Furthermore, they claimed that Ted Baker doesn't manufacture shoe laces. This lack of effort to help a customer is unacceptable. A simple solution like using a lace from another shoe could have resolved the issue, but they showed no interest in assisting me.
I'm extremely disappointed with the service I've received from Zone Fitness. Despite cancelling my membership in March and paying the cancellation fee, they've continued to take money from my account without justification. Initially, they deducted an agreed-upon amount for outstanding fees, but then randomly took R560 without explanation. When I brought this to their attention, they were unhelpful and unable to resolve the issue, forcing me to reverse the charge myself. To add insult to injury, they took another R250 from my account recently, despite my cancelled membership. The lack of transparency and accountability is appalling. I would not recommend Zone Fitness to anyone due to their poor customer service and billing practices.
