It's The Roaches' Place, You're Their Tenant
Lived here since 2023 and it is horrible. Apart from the noise (which I don't mind cause I make music), its constant water cuts and high electricity charges make it even more horrible. The ABSOLUTE WORST THING is the ****ROACHES. JESUS CHRIST YOU WILL GO MAD TRYING TO KILL THESE THINGS. From foggers and sachets to industrial sprays, THEY ALWAYS COME BACK. It's honestly depressing because your place will never feel clean with them around. And they are everywhere, from the kitchen to the bedroom. EVERYWHERE. Thank **** I'm moving out next month.

Grand Central - Absolute NO NO.
Probably the worst place to rent in Midrand. Been here since 2023 and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. Constant power outages that last up to a week, consistent water cutouts and a barrage of ****roaches. THE ****ROACHES. I’ve tried everything in my power to fend them off, to no success. Fumigation is expensive for me(I’m a student). There also isn’t any “real” safety and security due to very minimal access control. I’ve also had a leak in my kitchen a while ago and you’d be lucky if maintenance responds. Highly recommend you DON’T move here.
