I was contacted to settle my debt via the mandate debit order/debicheck. This after I have been arranged by these attorneys, they contacted my workplace and shared my personal information with two of my colleagues. They could clearly tell me attorneys are trying to get a hold of me to arrange settling my old mutual loan ( how unprofessional and disregard to the POPIA rights I have) I eventually spoke to their attorney whereby I was told to approve the mandate on my banking app, after a struggle to approve their mandate I informed Boitumelo and Nelly I prefer visiting the nearest O/M branch to consult with them first, expressed my concerns to them about their legitimacy and made it clear I will visit old mutual this week. This morning I receive a bank notification that the mandate was registered and approved. I have given NO CONSENT and will pursue legal advice this is *****!
