A vehicle belonging to Detpak South Africa drove into our car. We have been struggling to get their insurance company to pay out despite having dash cam footage of the incident. The attorney representing Detpaks insurance (Paladin Underwriting) is PVW Attorneys they have intentionally delayed payment to us for almost a year now. They did not respond to any emails or return any phone calls for almost a month in the beginning. I called in and used some colourful language (totally worng on my side) because the person Mogau Mogale is the most arrogant person on the planet. He then openly admitted that he will delay the process and has done so. We have reached out to Detpak staff ****ha Pillay for assistance but she just ignores messages. We have also copied in Shaun Pillay on our emails and he does not care.
I have not dealt directly with these guys but they need to know the attorneys that represent them have dragged a simple motor vehicle accident claim on for 11 months. I have dashcam footage of the incident. The attorneys in question PVW have dragged this on simply because I caused a scene and used a few colourful words as the I've you zero feedback. I have sent close to 30 odd emails to them in 11 months and have never received a direct response to any of them. I have only ever received 2 emails from them 1 offering me 40% of the damages amount. This has got to be THE worst bunch of people to deal with. They represent an insurance company who's clients truck drove into our vehicle. From the beginning they were useless. They sent an email stating please diarise feedback for 2 weeks not mentioning at all anywhere in the email that there are documents attached that need to be completed. I foind this out a few days later. First week I sent in all quotations and requested documents. 2 weeks pass with several phone calls and messages left for Mogau Mogale and no response. So let me tell you about this guy he is a classic example of educated but NOT intelligent, he simply lacks the ability to apply his mind. He's attitude socks and when I eventually spoke to him on the phone and vented I admittedly used some colourful language he openly sent an email admitting that he will delay the process. His manager Dylan Chetty is just that "a Manager" he has zero leadership ability or he would keep his staff in check. This company has covered themselves so well that it is impossible to speak to anyone senior. Reception will NEVER connect you to them bo matter how many times you try. The matter was transferred to Thabani Masiyane who is just as useless and expects us to believe that he is waiting for the assessor to add 1 item to the list for 3 months now. In short these guys are USELESS and Hello Peter reviews will confirm this. We have even copied in Detpak and Shaun Pillay who also dose not care despite us copying him in on the email.
